ECombat sets a NEW World Record

New Guinness World Record set at the Gadget Show Live.

The Gadget Show Live 2013 played host to two fantastic combat gaming arenas sponsored by ECombat. Entry to the gaming areas was completely free and over the course of the event literally thousands of players took part.

On the Saturday of the week long event ECombat held a world record attempt for "The most participants in a laser tag survival match" following Guinness World Record's stringent rules and criteria ECombat managed to set the record at 307 players in a little over two hour session.

Players were engaged in the game of laser tag using the most realistic commercially available equipment from ECombat, including the brand new MP7 Machine Pistol (pictured above), P90 PDW laser tag gun and the M9 hand pistol. ECombat laser tag equipment can be used indoors or outdoors and can fire at ranges of up to 300m. ECombat equipment sports the latest digital hit feedback technology which means when out on the battlefield the guns give instant hit feedback without the need for a central computer.

The winner of the Survival Laser Tag match was Marcus Van Wihl, who was the last man standing with a score of 23 hits and 1 kill. Special note must be made of Daniel Mudd, who in his 12 minutes in the game racked up a massive score of 74 hits and 11 kills!

Players were expertly marshalled by staff drawn from all over the UK. Battlefield LIVE: Hertfordshire, Norwich, Pennine and Modern Warfare. Also at the event were Laser Tag 4 Hire who operate a nationwide hire service.
